Division of a topic into subtopics exceeding five (5) layers is not encouraged.
Categorization of subtopics should follow the norms and guidelines in the use
of certain characters and symbols, such as:
i.
FIRSTSUBTOPIC: Capital letters (in bold);
ii.
SecondSubtopic:Acombination of capital and small letters (in bold);
iii.
Third Subtopic: A combination of capital and small letters (in bold and
italics);
iv.
ForthSubtopic:Acombination of capital and small letters (medium);
v.
FifthSubtopic:Acombination of capital and small letters (in italics).
WORKFLOW
4.0 SUBMISSIONOFMANUSCRIPTS
4.1 Manuscripts submitted to USIM
Publisher must be complete and in
theoriginal printed form.
4.2 Manuscriptsmust be submitted in a
string-tied envelope and should not
be folded or rolled in any way that
can affect the evaluation process.
Suitable binding for the manuscript
will beprovided byUSIMPublisher.
4.3 Manuscripts sent toUSIMPublisher
must represent the final stage of
writing and not in the form of a
preliminary draft that is subject to
amendments.
4.4 All
illustrations
including
photographs,figures,charts,graphs,
maps and drawings should be in
black and white (except in certain
cases) and can be incorporated
in the text or attached separately.
Illustrations attached separately
from the text must be titled and
numbered at its back page. The
title number statedmust correspond
to the illustrations mentioned and
alluded to in the text.

ROYALTIES
EachbookandmodulepublishedbyUSIM
Publisher is eligible for royalties, amount
ofwhich isasstipulatedby theCommittee
of Publication at theUniversity level.
