‘Ulum Islamiyyah Journal (UIJ) is a refereed journal published
biannually in June and December by Islamic Science University of
Malaysia (USIM). UIJ’S main objective is to promote, enhance and
contribute to an inclusive understanding of Islam and Muslim in
contemporary world. UIJ, which publish articles in English, Arabic
or Malay, serves as a forum for studies, research, critical debates
and multiple perspectives on the frame of integration of naqli and
aqli knowledge as embedded in the University’s philosophy. UIJ
welcomes primarily academic submissions as well as book reviews
related to works of professional community in the following areas:

Art and Literature

Islamic Studies

visiting the website.
Manuscripts
Manuscript should be prepared in accordance with the American
Psychological Association (APA) style guide by using the Times New
Roman or Traditional Arabic fonts. References should be cited in
the text as: (author, date, page). The size of the font should be 12
for Times New Roman and 16 for Traditional Arabic and typed in
1.5 spacing. An abstract of 250-300 words should be accompanied
with the manuscript. For manuscript written in English, an abstract
should be provided in English, and if the manuscript is written
in Malay or Arabic, and additional abstract in English should be
attached. Keyword consists of three (3) to five (5) words should
also be provided in the manuscript.
All manuscript will be reviewed by the internal and external
appointed assessors. Manuscript will be returned to the author(s)
for corrections and amendments if necessary with observations
and comments of the assessor(s) along with the decision made by
the Editorial Board regarding the publication of the manuscript.
The length of the article should be not more than 7,000 words
including notes and references.
Manuscript submitted to the Journal is not returnable whether they
are accepted for publication or not.
Contributors
Contributors must provide a brief identification of themselves
with their full names, positions held, organization, qualifications,
address, email address and areas of research interest.
Copyright
Contributors shall be responsible for the copyright of their
contributions.
